Priyansh Lamba (born 14 April 1999), is an Indian film director, film producer, writer, cinematographer and editor. He is the founding director of the youth based media house known as The Urban Desi. As of January 2020, he has received 15 awards at film festivals nationally and has also received 2 international awards for his short film Kakbagodaa. Lamba was born on 14 April 1999 to a Punjabi Family. He comes from the family of General Sardar Gurumukh Singh Lamba who was one of Maharaja Ranjit Singh's most eminent generals. Priyansh grew up in Karol Bagh and later in the Rajendra Nagar neighborhood of Delhi. Priyansh attended St. Columba's School, Delhi where he excelled in his studies and in sports such as cricket. He is a budding film maker who doesn't hesitate to experiment. He thrives to stand out and bring uniqueness in the cinematic world. In his copious free time, he loves to read books and watch films. He is a well-spoken and articulate young man who believes that dreams are achievable when chased by determination.
