Ziad Haggag is an award-winning writer and director, whose work is often centered on Arab societies. He's known for his directorial debut film 'Deliverance: A Women's Revolt', a short documentary about women from different Arab countries; the film was filmed in Egypt, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, USA and Palestine. The film got nominated to 19 film festivals including Tokyo International Film Festival and Toronto International Women Film Festival. Haggag was born on January, 5 1998 in Alexandria, Egypt. He's currently working on his first feature film that will be filmed in 2023.
