Cristina Pontón

Cristina Pontón is an Ecuadorian Director, Production Designer and Actress. At an early age, Cristina discovered her passion for arts and performance, playing several roles in theatre and TV. After she graduated from high school, Cristina studied a Bachelor's Degree in Audiovisual Communication at SEK University Ecuador. She worked as a TV Producer, Director and Actress in Ecuador for several years, before moving to Colombia. In 2014, she pursued a Post-Degree in Film & TV at Javeriana University of Bogotá. Her passion for acting kept going and she obtained a Diploma in Acting at Stars Actors Colombia. Country where she developed her career as director and actress in numerous short films. In 2017, she moved to Vancouver, Canada, where she earned a Diploma in Film Production at Vancouver Film School. She has worked in many TV shows, short films and feature films. Cristina is currently working in the Film Industry as Director, Writer, Production Designer and Actress.
