Saul Mejia

Saul Mejia, is an American Executive Producer, Producer, and stage actor. He was raised in both Mexico and in the United States, but most of his life grew up in the Community of Panorama City, California, 91402 in the City of Los Angeles. He is fluent in Spanish, and in English. He also speaks some French. He is the son of Francisco E. Mejia, a painter and Elena Peña a famed cosmetologist. He is the youngest of 6 brothers and 1 sister. As a child, Mr. Mejia played multiple roles in plays at the Church he attended and in Elementary School. He attended and graduated (1991) from Francisco Sepulveda Middle High School (North Hills CA.) He attended and graduated (1995) from James Monroe High School (North Hills CA.) where he took a drama class with Ms. Amanda Swann where he often played in several plays and filmed some commercials. In addition to his interest in acting Mr. Mejia was very well known and respected as a member of the U.S. Army JROTC program, he graduated as Captain, Ranger, Provost Marshall, Battalion Armorer, Courtesy Patrol Commander and Company Commander. He received 170 Awards including the prestigious AMVETS Medal during his years of service. Mr. Mejia began his career in music in 1996, he has worked as an CSR, Shift leader, Assistant Manager, Manager, Event Promoter, Talent Manager, and producer. In his music career Mr. Mejia has worked for such companies as Latin Music Warehouse, Ritmo Latino, Block Buster Music, Prajin Records, and Knockout International. During the 90's Mr. Mejia worked at a Hollywood Video Store in Sherman Oaks CA. as a "Assistant Director" where he had the opportunity to meet several celebrities that worked in film industry and that helped build up his interest in film. Mr. Mejia began his career in the fashion industry in the mid-2000s. He has worked as fashion consultant, model, and beauty pageant judge. He has worked for such companies as Macy's, Levis, Anchor Blues, and transcontinental model agency. In 2009 Mr. Mejia began his career in business and government when he was appointed Chairman of the Commerce Committee at the Panorama City Neighborhood Council. In 2010 He was elected as a Business Representative and was Re Elected in 2012 and 2016. In 2016 Mr. Mejia founded the Panorama City Chamber of Commerce. Locally Mr. Mejia belongs to very prestigious business institutions such as BIZFED, VICA, The United Chambers, The Hispanic Chamber of e-commerce and the Hispanic Business Network. At international level Mr. Mejia is associated with the Hon Kong Trade and Development Council, (HKTDC), Instituto Generador De Negocios Internacionales (INGEENIO, Mexico), and the Council of Trade and Investments for Filipino Americans (COTIFA). Mr. Mejia began his career in film in 2011 when he met film student Alejandro Ruiz from Los Angeles Film School in Hollywood, California. That same year Mr. Mejia worked as a Producer for a short film called "Panorama City" Directed Mr. Ruiz. Mr. Mejia's 1st commercial was a TV commercial called "Candlelight Beauty Salon" (2012) Directed by Elaine Lopez and featured pop singer Luis Camacho, Mr. Mejia was the producer for this commercial. Mr. Mejia's 1st music video was "Endless Summer" (2015) by the band Solaz, this music video was directed by Leonardo De Leon and Eddie Nava, Mr. Mejia was a producer on this music video. He has worked on independent films such as 38th is next week", "Creative Suspects", "Cinematográfic Repertoire Co.", "El Ultimo Psiquico", "Moon of the blood beast", "Direct to video", In3Dragon", "Tales for The Campfire 3", "Apex predators", and recently "The Woman In The Room" His first Red carpet appearance was at the Premier of "Man of the Year" in 2006 next to actors Robin Williams and Christopher Walken. Since then Mr. Mejia attended the premiers of Transformers Revenge of the Fallen (2009), Garbage (2012), The Campaign (2012), Batman V Superman (2016) Eternal Code (2019) Agramon's Gate (2019) and others. In 1999 Mr. Was recognized at the Hollywood Entertainment Awards for his 1st year working as an Assistant Director. In 2013 Mr. Mejia was nominated as best producer at the "48 Hrs Film Festival". In 2019 Mr. Mejia was recognized at the LAMFA Film Festival Awards and also was a presenter. In 2020 Mr. Mejia won the F.A.M.E. Award/Producer's Choice Honors For IN3DRAGON. In the past Mr. Mejia has met and worked with such amazing people in the film industry as Zack Snyder, Sally Kirkland, Arnold Schwarzenegger, George Clooney, Danny Trejo, Edward James Olmos, David Hasselhoff, Laura Linney, Emmy Rossum, Della Reese, Efren Ramirez, Luie Anderson, Richard Riehle, Chris Owen, Mark-Paul Gosselaar, Ethan Embry, Ana Nicole Smith, Roger Moore, Tom Arnold, Mike Judge, Gustavo Mena, Sheila Kuehl, Julia Vera, Angelines Santana, Harley Wallen, Kaili Wallen, Joe Williamson, Dustin Fergusson, JJ Stomp, Martin Aguirre and Vida Ghaffari, just to name a few.
