Michael Worden

Michael J. Worden is a paranormal researcher and investigator with over 20 years of experience in the field. Some notable investigations include Eastern State Penitentiary in Philadelphia, PA, the Lizzy Borden House in Fall River, MA, and Gettysburg Battlefield, in additions to many other investigations of museums, private homes, hotels, and historic places. He is the author of the 2009 book "Ghost Detective." Michael has developed a strong reputation for honesty and integrity in the field, and takes a very unique approach to paranormal investigations. Michael has been in law enforcement for over two decades, and has served as a patrol officer, detective and sergeant. As a detective, he handled major criminal cases, including homicides, sex crimes, assaults, robberies, frauds, burglaries, narcotics cases, and other serious felony level cases. His interviewing skills and experience, knowledge of evidence collection, and investigative procedures makes him unique in the paranormal field. He brings the combination of law enforcement know how and experience and combines it with a lifelong fascination with the paranormal to be something of an anomaly in the field. His long time partner is Linda Zimmermann, a noted author and paranormal researcher. Michael is also an author of true historical crime books, and co-host of a true crime podcast "Murder in the Hudson Valley" and a UFO podcast "UFO HQ" on Hudsonriverradio. Michaels research skills are highly focused, and when he researches a true historical crime he delves into every aspect of the case that he can, pulling potential information from sources as diverse as military records, police reports, newspaper accounts and vital records. He is, to say the least, obsessive with the details and facts. Michael is comfortable and experienced in front of the camera and available as expert for paranormal related topics such as ghosts, ghost hunting, UFOs, etc., true historical crimes, and related content. In his free time, Michael enjoys travelling, and has even been out on Loch Ness in Scotland searching for the legendary Loch Ness Monster. He also enjoys applying special FX makeup and anything and everything zombies and horror.
