Ari Newman

Ari Newman is a highly regarded actress who has received several awards. Ari spent over eight years training in performance at drama school, honing her craft and securing a variety of roles in both television and film. She has had the opportunity to work with notable actors, including Evan Peters and Academy Award-winning cinematographer Dion Beebe. Ari's notable work includes her appearance in the TIFF-selected and Stan Original film I Am Woman, directed by Unjoo Moon, as well as her performance in the short film Tommy, which earned her two international Best Actor awards (Film In Focus Festival, Long Story Short Awards) and a nomination for Best Young Artist at the AFIN Awards. In 2021, she voiced the character Cris in 25 episodes of the children’s animated series Big Words Small Stories on ABC, and also made a guest appearance in an upcoming TV series.
