Steffi Yasemin Renique is a Dutch and Turkish actor and writer. She was born in the Netherlands to Berji Bayram, an economist, and Jo Renique, a businessman. She lived in Jakarta, Indonesia for six years before relocating to the Netherlands, where she was educated at the International School of Amsterdam until the age of eighteen. She pursued her bachelor's in Business Administration and Entrepreneurship in the United States and Turkey before moving to England to study at The London School of Economics and Political Science, where she attained her first Master's degree. Steffi trained at Rose Bruford College on the prestigious conservatoire Acting programme where she attained her second Master's degree in 2019. Steffi is now writing and producing short film Atargatis (2020) inspired by the recent refugee crisis affecting the Mediterranean based on her real life experiences. During her time in California and New York, Steffi starred in short films Escape to LA (2012), Noir (2010) and Engage (2010). Her appearances while in London include Edinburgh Fringe Summerhall's The Unreturn of Lydia Osborn (2019), Pericles (2019) and Fools Call it Fate (2016).
