Described as a 'mad auteur', Max Knight is an English writer, director, actor and musician. Known for his comedic and sometimes experimental roles and shorts, Knight is easily recognisable by his short stature and high voice, often lending well to comic timing. He developed a taste for filmmaking when he first watched films such as Pulp Fiction and True Romance at 15 years of age, later gaining an influence from filmmakers such as John Waters, Woody Allen, Jean-Luc Godard, Wes Anderson, Martin Scorsese and Gregg Araki. He's also known as a musician under his alias 'DJ Not Jerry', as which he has contributed music to several films, including his own.
