A son of two immigrants, half-Vietnamese, half-Chinese, Andy was born and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He spent lots of his childhood searching for a calling, chasing after ideas with hopes of being able to express himself creatively. But it wasn't until he "fell" into film, specifically cinematography, that he felt truly passionate about his craft.
