Dennis Virshilas is a Russian-Canadian actor and musician from Richmond, B.C. His love for performing originated from making short films with his friends throughout elementary and high school, as well as being the frontman of a rock band that performed gigs at local swap meets and school gymnasiums. His passion for sports and dreams of one day replacing Don Cherry on Coaches Corner was subsided when he was cast as Danny Zuko in his high school production of Grease, thus beginning a journey of pursuing the performing arts. In 2019, Dennis received the Acting for Stage & Screen diploma at Capilano University, where he spent three years gaining invaluable knowledge and experience from a faculty that shared decades of professional wisdom in the worlds of film, musicals, theatre, and television. Since then he has been fortunate to perform in major and independent venues all across Vancouver, while playing supporting roles onscreen in independent features and student films. After university, Dennis joined Nadine Wright's ACT2 studio and dove deeper into the world of method acting with an emphasis on scene study. When he's not collaborating with other artists, you can find him on Instagram posting stories of song covers, film reviews, impressions, general nonsense, and much more.
