Petra Conti

Petra Conti is an Italian/Polish principal ballerina. A graduate of the National Academy of Dance in Rome, she has been a trainee with the Mariinsky Theater in St. Petersburg. In 2009 she joined the company of Teatro alla Scala, where she immediately began to play the main roles, becoming soon an icon for dramatic roles such as Giselle, Romeo and Juliet, Onegin. Sky Classic dedicated an entire documentary about her, entitled "Dancers of Tomorrow". Conti is soon called with the nickname of "Anna Magnani" della Danza. In 2011 she received the official appointment as Prima Ballerina of the Teatro alla Scala in Milan. In 2013 she became Principal Dancer of the Boston Ballet in America. Reached the international etoile career, from 2017 she makes Los Angeles her home, while also accepting the role of Principal Dancer with the Los Angeles Ballet. She danced as Principal Dancer in the most prestigious theaters in the world, including the Bolshoi, the Kremlin, the Dolby Theater, the Arena of Verona, the Opera of Kiev, of Ekaterinburg, of Tirana, of Muscat, of Rio de Janeiro , Sao Paulo, Washington and Kennedy Center ....
