Leisa Coffman is a Writer, Director and Producer. She has worked in many aspects of the entertainment industry through the publishing of books and production of films in years past. She has written and directed several short films in the last couple of years and is finishing up a script for her first feature film, "Missing". On her pre-production demo reel of "Missing", Writer and Director Sheldon Candis said, "Beautifully shot. Excited to see when you make the feature version the incorporation of these beautifully crafted cinematic images into the visual impression of the overall film. Silhouettes at magic hour, the man alone in the wilderness, the use of naturalistic elements to further convey love and longing. Really think about your visual motifs born out of nature and the natural elements. Great opportunity for a Mallick-esque experience. Nice work." Leisa is innovative and thinks outside the box, and this is what makes her an Avant Garde type of creator. Her work has been compared to the director Godfrey Reggio. Award-winning novelist and screenwriter, Trey Ellis, said of her experimental short film "A Place" was, "Gorgeous! I was reminded of "Koyaanisqatsi". The words and music are haunting and gorgeous. The old and new images are lovely. There is much talent on display here." Leisa is also a Singer/Songwriter and writes her own music for her films. She says, "Films are an outlet for all the things I love most, writing, singing and being behind the camera." Leisa is the founder and director of Luna Lumen Film Festival. The festival finds unique films from all around the world and awards filmmakers with unique "To the Moon" spaceship trophy awards.
