At age 4, Annaka began taking ballet and after 2 years admitted that she no longer wanted to participate and decided athletics was more up her alley. At 6 years old, she decided that basketball was her thing and continues to play the sport as a high school athlete and has plans to pursue basketball in college. While not on the court, she participates in some films her mother Sharon Nelson are in. Her first film was at age 7, having a speaking role as the little girl in the library in "The Studio" written & directed by Dave Weese. She can also be seen in "The Forge Reclamation" as a 'security contractor'.
