Sarah Alyafei

Sarah was born in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Her father is of Yemeni descent and her mother is of Eretrian descent. Sarah has always had a passion for performing on both screen and stage and was discovered by a high profile Middle Eastern actress at the age of 15. Sarah's first role was in Saudi Arabia's popular comedy "Amsha Bint Ammash" in 2007. Today, Sarah is one of the most recognisable actresses in Saudi Arabia having played characters in over 25 television shows and short films since 2007. Although Sarah started her career in comedic roles she has evolved and matured as an actress and is now perhaps better known for her powerful performances in hard hitting dramas. Sarah continues to challenge how Saudi Arabian cinema and television is presented with her method acting and portrayals of vulnerable and realistic characters.
