"João Sacramento was born on 31st January 1989 in Barcelos, Northern Portugal. He began his football career as a midfielder in the academy of Portuguese Primeira Liga side, SC Braga. Formerly a young player in the SC Braga Academy, João earned a Master's Degree in Sports Coaching and Performance at the University of South Wales, before becoming a senior lecturer in tactical analysis. Alongside this, he served as a video analyst with the Welsh national team. In February, 2014, he joined Ligue 1 club AS Monaco as Head of Tactical Analysis, serving under the stewardship of both Claudio Ranieri and Leonardo Jardim. A pioneer in video analysis, he has been invited to discuss his working methodologies with several leagues and federations in Spain, Portugal and the USA. João Sacramento joined Tottenham Hotspur on 20th November 2019 as assistant head coach, having performed a similar role at Ligue 1 side LOSC Lille since January, 2017. He is fluent in English, French and Spanish. "
