Wendy Dang

Wendy Dang was born on December 8th, 1991 in Salt Lake City, UT to a loving Vietnamese family. Her first introduction to acting was Shakespeare's "Much Ado About Nothing" and she has been getting her Shakespeare fix for years before working in film and TV. She credits the Stella Adler Studio of Acting in New York City for supporting her Shakespeare habit and for being allies of diversity in classical theatre. The Barrow Group in New York City holds a special place in her heart for teaching her how to act on screen. Wendy is a huge advocate for diversity on stage, in front and behind camera. She hopes to bring Performance Education to people of all backgrounds so that she may see projects that more closely reflect her reality and bring opportunities to those who wouldn't normally get the chance to tell their stories. She is working to write inclusive and interesting scripts for film and the stage.
