Angelo Rocha's love for movies and tv started with the silent films of Charlie Chaplin and Buster Keaton being projected on a white sheet, hung over a large tree branch, in Elementary School. The first full-length movie he ever watched was Snow White and the Seven Dwarves and that movie, alone, captured his imagination and desire to get involved. He migrated, with his entire family, to America in 1987. Grew up in Harrison, New Jersey unable to speak any proper English. But quickly learned by watching movies and television. He took up art, writing, and sculpting at an early age. Winning numerous awards throughout his school years. His attention to detail got him involved in theater, acting, and backstage work through most of his Middle and High School. Angelo is a longtime fan of 80's Action, Sci-fi, Comedy, and Horror, with a love for Legendary individuals like Steven Spielberg, James Cameron, Arnold Schwarzenegger, and many others. Angelo joined the U.S. Army in 1999, for college money to pursue a degree in film, tv, and/or a radio, at William Patterson University... But 9-11-2001 happened and his aspirations were severely side-tracked. Choosing to lead a different career path instead in mechanical Engineering. Luckily, Angelo never gave up his love for art, film, or tv. So he self thought himself by reading every book he could find on filmmaking. Then one day Angelo saw a documentary in which James Cameron inspired Angelo to write and draw everything that he dreamed about. So he did write it down and drew it. After having written many Screenplays and studied all he could study, Angelo and a few fellow writers began cooperating, creating, and fleshing out a multitude of shows. They created SAA Films, SAA Pictures, and SAA Talent as a way to be the next generation of Dreammakers and storytellers Angelo's stories, worlds, and creativity are a wonder to behold. He hopes to one day be a somebody but with his limitless imagination and potential he just might.
