Shirley Marie Norman

Shirley holds a BA in Psychology from Georgetown University and a Masters in Fine Arts in Acting from USC's School of Dramatic Arts; While in graduate school and after, Ms. Norman was producer's assistant at Frigate Bay Filmworks where she worked closely with producers, screenwriters, directors, and special effects team in the development of motion picture properties based on original literary works and life story materials. In 2014, Shirley began working for an independent documentarian and photographer at Bert Stern Productions as the Director of Operations and Compliance. At the end of 2016, Shirley moved from Los Angeles to Atlanta. While in Atlanta, she completed the Film and Digital Media Certificate Program with a focus in Screenwriting through the Clayton State University. She has written and directed several short films and is the principal director and story editor for the web series, Scales. As an actor, she has performed on film and stage in various classical and contemporary roles in Los Angeles, Washington DC, and Atlanta.
