Patricia Poprik

Patricia Poprik is the chairperson of the Bucks County Republican committee which serves as the campaign arm of the Republican party in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. She has served as a Trustee of Pennsylvania State University, having been appointed by Governor Schweiker in 2002. She was also on the Board of Governors of Warminster Hospital. She has also been an elected school director of the Council Rock School District and was appointed by Governor Ridge to serve on the Board of Governors of the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education. For many years, she was on the Eastern Pennsylvania Federal Judicial Nominating Commission and on the Bucks County Community College Foundation Board. She is a former board member and secretary of Pennsylvanians for Effective Government, a pro-business organization,and a former President of the Patrons Foundation, a private philanthropic group. Ms.Poprik was born and raised in Philadelphia where she graduated from Cardinal Dougherty High School and Saint Joseph's University with a Bachelor of Science in Education. She and her husband, John, reside in Buckingham and have two grown sons and five grandchildren.
