Stuart Kalehua Featheran Jr. was born and raised on the island of Oahu in Hawaii and is of Hawaiian, Korean, and German descent. He began training as an actor at Windward Community College, participating in college theatre productions, including playing Richard the III in the Shakespearean play Henry 6.3. Shortly after, he began to do film roles in locally produced films Plankenstein and The Perfect Illusion. His first major film role was Paoa in the upcoming film The Wind and the Reckoning. He trained for 2 years in Hawaiian Language and 1 year in Hawaiian history while attending Windward Community College.
