Sofia Carregha Lozano

Sofia is a Mexican performer based in New York City. Around the age of 14 Sofia joined a Community Theatre Company, where she found herself falling in love with singing, dancing and acting. She was only enrolled for 3 years but continued her training in tap dancing for another 2 years. After graduating high school, Sofia decided to follow her dreams all the way to New York City, by attending AMDA's Musical Theatre Conservatory Program. After virtually graduating in May 2020, Sofia took part in a virtual Showcase with Seth Bisen-Hersh , originated a role for the production of Smoke, shot a film called Royalty: The Knowing (Coming Soon), a short film called Beautiful Blue (Spring 2021), among other projects. "The reason why I love performing is because I want to inspire latinx people to follow their dreams. So that little girls that look like me can say 'if she could, I can too' "
