U.S. Navy Veteran Alicia Buckner, nicknamed "Ali" (pronounced Ah-Lee) was born and raised in New York. Ali studied architecture at Hampton University in Virginia before enlisting in the United States Navy. Before completing service, she created Fôlsheart Productions which was established in early 2018. Her vision is to continue to create "impact films" that get conversations going, to help communities progress and engage in thoughts and ideas that may be unfamiliar to them. She has produced, directed, written and edited a number of films and pieces for non-profit organizations and businesses across the United States. She has always been interested in acting and makes cameos in her films Alfred Hitchcock style from time to time. Ali has won a number of awards across the globe for her films in areas like London, Berlin, Sweden, Los Angeles, Toronto, Argentina, New York, India, Paris, Mykonos, Venice and many more for Best Director, Best Producer and Best Film. Her production company houses a diverse group of film lovers who understand the mission of Folsheart and want to help change hearts and minds together.
