Biography

Devin Daniel Vega was born in Manhattan, to Joanne Vega, an HR Representative, and Danny Vega, a Truck Driver. His mother, who is from Brooklyn, New York, is Puertorican. His father, is also from Brooklyn, New York, and is also Puertorican. Devin is the third born of four children, he has two sisters, and one brother. He grew up in a working class family. He attended Robert F. Wagner Jr Secondary School for Arts and Technology, where he was introduced to Theatre by the institutes theatre director, Oskar Sararsky, and later attended The New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts, where he received an Associates Degree in Occupational Studies for Film and Television Performance. Upon graduating, he had a sizable role in the Sci'fi Horror short film "The Feeder of Mir", by Issac Suero. On stage, he has appeared in the plays "RENT" as Roger Davis, Shakespeare's "As You Like It" as Oliver, and Agatha Christie's "Murder On the Nile" as Simon.
