Mark Baumann

Mark Baumann is a chef from Essex, England. Mark began his culinary career at just 21 years of age and later joined forces with the Irish entrepreneur Peter Langan and opened what was then called Langan's Brasserie in Coggeshell, Essex in 1988. Mark has appeared as a celebrity chef on a number of television programs, including hosting his own series, Baumann Goes to Market. During his highly successful career he has worked alongside other famous TV and celebrity chefs including Jamie Oliver. Mark is known for his interesting recipes, unusual ingredients and farm fresh sources, including offering kangaroo meat and asparagus ice cream at his high end restaurant.
