Catherine Deriana

Catherine "Cat" Crawford is an established hairstylist and makeup artist for film, video, and editorial based in Montana. Upon graduating from the Aveda Institute in 2012 with her cosmetology license, she continued her education in hair-styling with an emphasis on color techniques and all hair textures. She also managed and worked as a freelance artist for high-end makeup brands like Laura Mercier & Estée Lauder. Cat's hair and makeup experience has culminated in her leading the hair and makeup departments on several film and television productions. Most recently, Cat was the makeup department head on the widely-praised 2022 Sundance film God's Country, starring Thandiwe Newton. In between film & television projects, Cat works as an actress, a freelance licensed hair-makeup artist, and continues to build her brand and business, Styled By Cat D.
