Daryn Carl Ramsey

Daryn Carl Ramsey was raised in Neptune, New Jersey. He is a former All-American track athlete in high school and member of a nationally ranked shuttle hurdle relay team in college. Now, as an author, actor, and screenwriter, his book BOLD & CRAZY FAITH: The INSPIRATIONAL, the 1st in the series, is recognized by Amazon as a best seller. BOLD & CRAZY FAITH 2: THE MEDITATIONS will be released in the fall 2021. He has interviewed with iBelieve Radio, Baltimore's Hottest Gospel Station, 91.3 WVST Radio, Petersburg/Richmond, VA, the Elevation Talk Show-Worldwide, Baltimore, MD and various others. He is the founder of Ramsey's Corner a site that interviews and features creative artists such as actors, screenwriters, directors, producers, authors, and publishers that are making their mark in the world inspiring others. Accelerating into the film industry as an actor in MegaMind Media's feature film, "Holiday Heartbreak," written by Tiffany Yancey and directed by Charles Jones, Daryn has worked with accomplished actors and directors such as Michael Colyar, Kenneth Wayne, and Ibrahim Yilla. He has recently worked on the set of BET Her Presents: The Waiting Room (2021) produced by MegaMind Media as a production assistant. Daryn is the CEO of Diamond & Light Publishing, LLC where he writes, creates, and publishes a variety of content that are in development to become book to film or film to book adaptations. Daryn studied the film industry in the award-winning filmmaker Tressa "Azarel" Smallwood's Elite Film Mentorship. He has been a writer for Empowering Disciples Magazine, member of the Black Writers Guild of Maryland, and Maryland Writers Association. As a writer for Speakers Magazine, his interview and cover story with world-renowned Bishop Vashti Murphy McKenzie is featured in the November 2018 issue of Speakers Magazine. Daryn Carl Ramsey attended Virginia State University where he majored in Business Administration. He went on to attend the University of Maryland University College, where he earned his B.S. degree in Management.
