Cesar D. Lima

Cesar D. Lima, also known as Yo Homeboi Julius C, was born on the 1st of July, 1989 in Guatemala and was brought to the United States with his family around his first birthday. His journey began in a Mexican area in Chicago, IL where he lived the first 15 years of his life. Throughout his childhood, he had a very special interest and passion in acting, music, & various other arts. He began acting in church plays since the age of 7 and by the time he reached junior high school, he was competing against high school students. Cesar was a very respected individual for being involved in music, acting, playing drums, other percussion instruments, and joining the wrestling team. At the age of 13, his interest in music production began but in 2004 his family made the decision to move to Massachusetts to move away from the gang violence of Chicago. For a period of time, the transition to a new world was too much for him and he was not interested in anything else other than wrestling but eventually he decided to give MA a chance. He continued where he left off with the music production & rejoined acting. He was awarded best actor of the year on his senior year in high school. Eventually he took his music path to learning audio engineering and that led him to becoming a Chicago style Conscious Hip Hop artist by the name of Yo Homeboi Julius C. Cesar wrote and released his first low budget album in 2015 titled "Rise Above, Vol. 1: The Foundation" and now he has decided that it is time to create the "Rise Above, Vol. 2: The Grind" album, the 2nd of 3 volumes. At the beginning of 2020 he released his first low budget music video with another artist on a song titled "Crushed (Blanko Remix)" which led to the thrill to want to return back to acting. Cesar D. Lima / Yo Homeboi Julius C aims to continue to build his Conscious Hip Hop career but he felt that his talent and passion for acting was going to waste. Now focused on acting, Cesar made it into the movie "Illuminate" as one of the antagonists and that movie is set to release in 2021. His goal is to continue the journey in the film industry and work his way into bigger films as he also builds up his music career.
