My name is Daniel Antunez, a 20-year-old student filmmaker studying at San Francisco State University majoring in Cinema and double minoring in Latinx Studies and Race & Resistance. My goal as a filmmaker is to create films with a purpose, addressing societal issues or personal dilemmas in an aesthetically and thematically captivating film. I started creating films in Junior High School but never took my work seriously until I entered High School. I then worked on various types of film projects including a documentary series called "Husky of the Month", a seven-episode mockumentary student series called "Tutoring", commercials, and then the release of my first 23-minute short-film "Social Media" (2019) my senior year.
