Maro DeLo

Maro DeLo, was born in New York City and raised in Philadelphia. Both of his parents forged their career pathways in the arts, his mother is a Chief Creative Officer at a large east coast ad agency, his father is a professional Photographer and Video Producer whom also teaches photography and retouching at several US colleges including FIT in New York. Maro decided to forgo college and chase after his dreams in the entertainment business. With the full support of this family, he began to develop with the many industry professionals including taking acting lessons with Shari Shaw in LA and John Pallotta and Joey Perillo on the east coast. Maro's acting credits include the lead role the short film "The Proposal Plan" produced by Junitos Studios foe which he has been nominated for best actor in the NJ Film Awards for the role of "Jim". He is also in production for an upcoming TV Pilot: Pressure Cooker where he plays the role of Jett Rockwell. written by Terry McFadden and Stephen Sacavitch. In addition to acting, Maro is a music artist and songwriter, having produced with some of the most prolific and award-winning music producers in the industry including, PJ Bianco, David Ivory, Jimi K Bones and Devine Evans. He also spent a year songwriting with Writing Sessions America/Kevin Shine and he takes ongoing vocal lessons with Benny Mezza at Singing Success in Nashville. Maro has gained recognition for his natural talent, and has landed many national music performances. His music is a fusion of various genres, including hyper-pop, rock, and soul. He has been praised for its raw emotion and infectious energy. You can find Maro's music on all streaming platforms under the artist name Maro DeLo and his song "Breathe You" is featured on the short film "The Proposal Plan". Maro has walked the Runway at NY and London Fashion weeks he has also walked in shows in Philadelphia and Baltimore.
