Christian Lawes

Christian Lawes is an award-winning wildlife filmmaker with a focus on science, conservation, and natural history. He has an interest in raising philosophical questions within the natural world, and in raising awareness of lesser-known, misunderstood or underappreciated wildlife. Christian studied Directing & Producing Science and Natural History at the National Film and Television School, graduating with a masters in 2021. He has directed, produced and shot three films at his time at film school including his recent 20 minute short on the fascinating complexity of trees and forests and the value of a connection to this encompassing habitat.
