Nicole Sazo

Performer, stage researcher and teacher. After finishing her acting career at the Universidad Católica de Chile, she continued her education independently through workshops, seminars and laboratories in Chile and abroad. As a performer she has worked with directors in Chile and abroad in theater, dance and performance, while as a teacher she taught the Introduction to Acting course at the extension department of the Catholic University of Chile and several theater workshops at school and university level. In addition, she created the project "The eloquence of silence" (2018) where she begins her artistic work in relation to the deaf community, taking sign language as an expressive support and starting point to investigate in the universe of communication, the logics in the thought-language relationship and the democratization/accessibility of spaces and artistic discourses for the deaf community.
