Christina is an actor, voice artist and dancer based in Sydney, Australia. She has entertained audiences in theatre for over 10 years. Christina was born and raised in Philadelphia and moved to the Boston area at the age of ten. Her father is Filipino and her mother is Cambodian. She has 5 younger siblings and can speak Khmer. When she was 13 years old, she played Juliet which prompted her English teacher to nominate her for the Merrimack Repertory Theatre's Young Company Scholarship. After studying at the summer drama program, Christina continued to take acting courses and perform in improvisational theatre in high school. Christina was nominated by her theatre professor to compete for the Irene Ryan Scholarship at the Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival (KCACTF) for her role as the Third Woman in The Baltimore Waltz, which included playing The Little Dutch Boy at Age 50. She performed the Vagina Monologues in Cambodia. The success of the show was so widespread, that the ensemble was asked to perform a second set of shows in the city of Siem Reap, home to the famous Angkor Wat Temples and also headlined Phnom Penh Fem Fest, the first feminist arts festival in Cambodia the following year. Christina graduated from Simmons University with a Master of Science in Education and Fitchburg State University with a Bachelor of Arts in English. She taught primary students for 8 years in the US, South Korea, Cambodia and Australia, which allowed her to experience different cultures and travel internationally. Christina also has 15 years hip hop dance experience, taking weekly classes and performing in showcases.
