I have always loved the ocean, I get that from my dad, I think it runs in my blood. I've been blessed to grow up in Huntington Beach which provides fun waves year round, nothing would stop me from going surfing every single day. I started at the age of five, first standing up on a Bodyboard. But when my dad got me a surfboard that's when I became addicted! Standing up on my first wave was the most incredible feeling in the world. I first tried Stand Up Paddle (SUP) in 2007 because my dad had injured his back and he wanted to keep surfing but was having a hard time popping up. He had seen some guys Paddle Surfing in Mexico and he convinced me to try it. So we grabbed some paddle boards and went out on the smallest day, I was blown away by how much fun I had, it felt like learning to surf all over again! From that moment on, I realized the potential the sport had, I knew I was going to land airs and surf my sup just like my short-board. My whole life I have thrived off the thrill of the ocean. That thrill, that passion, has allowed me to progress as an athlete and as a person. I strive to be the best and share my passion with others. In 2020 I got the opportunity to share my passion for surfing in a big way when I became Host for the TV Show, World of Waves.
