Joyce Hii is an Asian-American actress born and raised in Los Angeles County in California. She always had a love for acting and participated in theatre productions through her high school, college and community theatre. In 2018, she graduated from California Polytechnic University, Pomona with a Bachelor's in Business and then in 2019, with a Master's in Accountancy. In 2020-2021, Joyce transitioned from working at a top 10 accounting firm in the US to pursuing a career in film. Since then, Joyce has appeared in several productions. She starred in I Can't Run Away as the lead, Jessica Yu, who is forced to decide whether to run or fight back against Asian hate crimes committed against her. As Kanika in the feature film, Crush It!, she and her Purple POC Podcast Team filmed coverage of a beautiful vineyard and the wine-making process. Joyce also appeared in the feature film Who Dunt Dunt Dunnit? as Won Yung, the smart, but timid student who is invited to a dinner party that turns out to be the scene of a murder. Joyce Hii currently resides in Los Angeles. She enjoys raising monarch caterpillars and volunteering at her church as part of the worship team.
