Riga Ruby

Actor and comedian, Riga Ruby is a native of New Orleans who has been performing for 20 plus years. She studied Theatre Arts at Dillard University and also earned a BA in Theatre Arts from Coppin State University in Baltimore, Maryland. Her memorable performances prompted sold out collegiate and local shows while residing in Maryland. Upon moving back to her hometown in 2013, Riga immersed herself in independent theatre and film projects throughout the city and regional area. She immediately became a crowd favorite in sketch and stand-up comedy of many local stages. Riga Ruby has recently become a social media sensation who is known for her hilarious variety of character acts. Her unique creativity coupled with effortless versatility in character work affirms that she is certainly "one to watch".
