Mendy Shapiro is an Israeli Hasidic singer and songwriter. Mendy serves as lead singer of " The Goldin Project" which is associated with a number of hits. At the age of 7, he began a singing career alongside his father, the singer and Hasidic cantor Shmuel Shapiro. At the age of 9 he went with his family to France, where they lived in Paris and at the same time continued his singing career. In 2013, his father's album 'Seu Marom' was released, in which Mandy took an active part in singing and accompaniment. He studied music and sound development with Cantor Haim Eliezer Hershtik and at the 'Nigounit' School of Music in Boulogne-sur-Mr, where he later served as the choir's lead singer. During his career as a child prodigy, Mandy has appeared alongside great musicians of all kinds.. Among the prominent places where he performed are 'Casino de Paris' and 'La Victoire'. He also frequently appeared in the Great Synagogue Ohel Avraham in Paris alongside his father, as lead singer and conductor of the synagogue choir. In 2019, after his marriage, he returned to the stage as a Hasidic singer, performing at a variety of events around the country and the world.
