Andreas Wendt was born on March 24, 1988 in Dusseldorf, Germany. He is a TV-host, producer and straight-talking entrepreneur. Andreas Wendt finished his school career after the 11th grade and completed his training as a hair stylist & colorist. At the age of 19 he opened his first own hair salon in Cologne, Germany. In 2006 he ran six hairdressing salons and worked for fashion companies such as Hugo Boss. Numerous celebrities such as Barbara Schöne, Stefanie Heinzmann, Sophia Thomalla were among his clients. In 2008 he won the "Salon of the month August" award and in 2009 he won the "Salon of the year" award. His salon was also named "Top Location" by the city-magazine "PRINZ" in 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2012. In 2007 he started his television career at ProSieben. He became known nationwide through the ProSieben program Der Salonretter - Waschen, schneiden, föhnen (2007). He visits struggling hair salons in Germany and whips the desperate stylists and salon owners into shape. In 2011 Wendt launched his own hair care and styling line "Andreas Wendt Professional", which was available in TV-shopping at HSE24 Germany, Austria, Switzerland, HSE24 Italy and IdealWorld UK. In 2012, Wendt resigned from the management of the hairdressing salons operating company. He moved to Luxembourg, completed a trainee ship and hosted the program Neie Wand mam Wendt - de Salonretter (2013) for RTL Télé Lëtzebuerg. This production was the first production in which Wendt was involved as a producer.
