Xan Gabriel is a young artist that grew up in Thousand Oaks, California. She has been writing music ever since she can remember. Beginning at age 6, Xan has appeared in countless theater and musical theater productions both locally and professionally in Holywood. From ages 7-12 Xan studied and performed Shakespeare with the Much Ado About Shakespeare Theater Company. In her early teens, Xan joined The Cabrillo Theater Company for four years. Xan also studied improv under Ginny Grady. Through her performances as Adelaide in "Guys and Dolls," Judy in "White Christmas," and Belle in "Beauty and the Beast," Xan earned many nominations and awards through the Jerry Hermans at the Hollywood Pantages Theater, the National Youth Theater Awards and many others. At age 18, Xan began studying theater and music at Westmont College. Studying voice with Dr. Nichole Dechaine at Westmont, Xan has grown her repertoire with classical and contemporary pieces. Xan is excited to announce that she has recently graduated with a Bachelors of Arts in May 2021, an entire year early. During the 2020 pandemic, Xan joined the League of Young Women Composers and landed her composing debut on Disney Channel's 'Quizney.' Shortly after, Xan began scoring the original soundtrack for Lila Rose Kaplan's, "small enchantments." Xan's original music and lyrics are now published with Kaplan's script and can be licensed through Theater Rights Worldwide. Additionally, Xan shot her film debut as Lexi in the new feature film Wake Up in Fall of 2020. Most recently, Xan has been scoring library music for two Disney Channel shows, Greatest of All Time (G.O.A.T.) and Eye Wonder. Currently, Xan has opened her first multi sensory contactless exhibit 'CHROMESTHESIA' that explores the combination of color and sound.
