Sophia Tsangaridou

Sophia was born in Nicosia and introduced due circumstances in the world of media since she was a child. Sophia is also an Academic at a University in Cyprus in the area of Media and Cinema. She is also an invited instructor and speaker at several seminars and workshops on the island and abroad. She is a director and Producer and has written scripts on short films and several commercials, documentaries and corporate videos. She has an MA in Media Production & Management, Middlesex University, and a BA in Communications from University of Nicosia. She worked in several positions in all sort of productions, from camera assistant to camera operator, form editor to production manager, and First Assistant Director for several commercials and two short films, before founding her own company. She is a C/O, Producer and Director for Klaketacy Productions Ltd. She directed several commercials, music videos, live concerts and documentaries. At the year 2019 she had the honor to introduce the first CGI, 3D Influencer in the Middle East and the female influencer becomes a cover for Grazia Middle East Magazine Dubai. She produced and directed three short films, 'Insidious, Invisible', 'Saving Joy', 'The Box'. She is the TV Representative and previously the treasurer at the Director's Guild of Cyprus'. She is a member of the committee of The International Motion Festival, Cyprus, and an instructor on documentary making for the last four years for A.E.I. Doc Festival of Cyprus.
