Wayne Danewood was born in Cleethorpes, and spent his Childhood living on Military Stations following his serving Father. His interest in Performance and Theatre started at Military Grammar School whilst stationed in Germany. After leaving School he trained in Drama and Theatre Arts at the Grimsby College of Arts and Technology, this led to him assisting Back Stage at the Caxtons Theatre Grimsby and a Cast Role as the character 'Selim' in the James Elroy Flecker Play " Hassan". Wayne joined the Royal Air Force and whilst serving maintained his interest with Roles in Local Theatre including 'The Follies Review' and the Cast Role of 'Buttons' in Cinderella with the Coningsby Players. After leaving the Service in 1989 he Auditioned as a Swing Jive Dancer for the Dance Scene in the Film 'Memphis Belle', and then went onto join the 'Theatre Nouveau' in 1990 with Director Timothy Jones. Wayne left the Theatre Industry to Study and Work in the Art and Design Industry, gaining Diplomas in Fashion Design, Jewellery Design and Fine Art, an Honours Degree in 'Metalsmithing and Jewellery Design', and a Masters Degree in 'Fine Art'. After 25 years of working as a Designer, Bladesmith and Jeweller whilst bringing up a Family as a Single Parent, he now returns to Acting with 'Flipside'. He lives in the Cotswold market town of Stroud in Gloucestershire
