Emily Drouin

Emily Drouin is a professional children's book illustrator, comic creator, character designer, concept artist, art educator, video editor, animator, author, member of the National Cartoonists Society, the SCBWI, and creator of Kids Con New England - New England's first & favorite comic con for kids, with events in NH and ME, promoting art education and literacy through comics. She enjoys teaching cartooning, animating, cosplaying at comic cons, as well as drawing all things cute! Emily earned her BA in Graphic Design from Keene State College, studied art at the NH Institute of Art, the Currier Museum of Art Center, interned at Disney, as well as won several art awards. She's provided character designs, concept art and visual development for Nickelodeon: Santiago of the Seas and Netflix Animation: Kid Cosmic. Her published works include: EPLIS Sci-fi Comic Book Series, The Pumpkin Wizard Children's Book Series, Hyperdork, Are You my Girlfriend?, Arya's Adventures, The Cul-de-Sac Kids, Mundane Men, For the Love of Rey Book Series, coloring activity books: Treasure Your Sight, Heroes of Black History and more. Her work has been featured on TV, podcasts, magazines, and news articles, including Bleeding Cool, Boston Globe, PBS, WMUR News, NH Chronicle, NH Magazine, News Center Maine, Parenting NH, Business NH, MyM Magazine (UK), Union Leader, Hippo Press, Fanboy, Kids Love Comics, museums, comic cons and more.
