Elijah Cemp Ragsdale Full bio: What more can be said about Elijah that hasn't already been said, thought, and felt? Well I'll tell you a lot more so much more. It started on Halloween night in 1997. With the Great Eric Clapton, Keith Richards, and George Harrison already past their prime. The time was right for this young boy to start and pick up where they left off. But Eli was not like other masters of the instrument that we call Guitar. No, Eli decided to lend his unmatched talents to the art of theater. Starring and actually becoming the Beast in the world renown production of Beauty and the beast. Eli went full method for his role as the beast. Some who saw this truly Steller and unforgettable performance said "he actually became a beast he was the beast" He then decided to leave the theater behind at least for the moment, to focus solely on music. Eli was co founder and sole talent of the rock group The Reflectors!!!! A band that rocked so much that they forgot to actually try and make it big. He then went solo and began writing what some called "Poetry with the guitar" He performed weekly at the academy that is and always will be called Moriah. Some have called these weekly performances "artful and fruitful" while others even boldly claimed" I saw what life meant and what life could mean" Eli then moved his talents to the biggest most successful church on 49th street. Playing music that reached and moved the masses!! Between writing pop and rock standards, he also went country and I don't mean country as in the modern sense. I mean he went 70s country and went full method to the point that he actually for three months in the summer of 2019 considered himself a 70s singer songwriter country music star!!!!! He was 85% right, only he lived in the modern era. After fighting off Hollywood for many years Eli finally relented and accepted a part in the new Martin Scorsese picture. (Yes, the film with Leo and Bob Deniro) while on set he taught Jason how to chicken pick on the guitar. And even influenced his song writing. Hanging out with Leo and Deniro and becoming closer with them then they even realized. Was a great experience, but it was Marty who really inspired Eli on set. Between takes talking about western belt buckles etc. He felt that while making the film with his friends (Marty,Leo and Deniro)was fun, it was not what he wanted to always do. He would much rather just hang out with Leo over ice cream. As of 2021 Eli is soon to be married to a pretty young thing(PYT) named Kaylee. And is sitting on his recent Hollywood film salary and music income he makes. And he also manages to teach the young talents on the rise at a top notch music academy, where his talents are divided between ALL the many many instruments he has absolutely Mastered. Some say he is better at piano then anything else. Name an instrument he can play it and oh yes master it! Eli is also a SAG member for his numerous great moments making films with Hollywood titans!!!
