Brit J Ellerman was born in Denver, Colorado to Tammy Ellerman (Hinman) and Jay Ellerman (A professional rodeo athlete). He went to school in a small town in Northern Colorado where he was the captain of the basketball team, student president, and won many honors, competitions and scholarships for his business school work (DECA, FBLA Champion). While in high school he was also a state and National High School Rodeo Champion. Brit went to college at the University of Wyoming on a rodeo scholarship where he obtained a degree in Business Administration and Marketing. He also was an accomplished roper in the college ranks and eventually went pro. While in college he played guitar and sang once a week at a local bar. During this time, he ventured into modeling and acting. Modeling clothes for several companies in the western industry through print and runway, he worked his way onto the TV show Cash Cowboys and several other roles in commercials. After college he continued to rodeo professionally, act, model, while also starting a few businesses, one being Texas Saddlery. Texas Saddlery manufactures leather products for private label, retail, and online. Through this he had the opportunity to create and consult on leather products and western wear for the hit TV series "Yellowstone" with famed costume designer Ruth E. Carter, as well as consult and work with his own horses on commercials and print for companies like Boot Barn. Brit is still an avid team roper, continues to embrace his entrepreneurial spirit, and act.
