Ella Gittens was born January 6th, 2004, in County Kilkenny, Ireland, as the third of four children in her family. Ella began preforming at a young age at her local pantomime group. Later she went on to begin training at some of the best acting establishments in Ireland. In 2023 Ella will be attending The Lir Academy (The Lir National Academy of Dramatic Art) at Trinity College Dublin. Ella Gittens was a member of Kilkenny Youth Theatre ("Barnstorm") from 2019-2022. She was a member of the Young Critics Panel at the Dublin Theatre Festival in 2021 and later went on to be elected a well-being officer of the Youth Board of National Youth Theatre Ireland in 2022. The Blackrock One-Act play competition awarded Ella an "Excellence in Performance" in early 2020. In 2021 Ella played the role of "Rose" in the short film "The Least I Can Do" (2022) by award winning, two time Young Irish filmmaker; Seán Treacy. The film has won numerous awards and nominations.
