Kalaiarasi Sathappan

Director Kalaiarasi Sathappan D.F.Tech, Kalai completed her studies in Taramani film Institute and started her career as a line producer in Graphics companies. She has settled down in the UK for the past 12 years and working as a Managing Director in advertising & video production company, ICreations Ltd, based in London. Through her company banner, she has directed a myriad of advertisements, musical videos, animation videos and documentaries. She has worked on the graphics front for many Tamil films, notably in Superstar's Kuselan, Kochadaiyan and actor Vijay's, Puli, where a considerable number of Graphics scenes were completed by her company. In the decade of experience in the VFX and Animation field, Kalai founded her own animation production studio in London and Chennai, Kalai the Art Productions Limited aka KTAP STUDIO. Her continued hardworking and passion for the film industry let her to become one of the producer in the Tamil movie "Seven" and invested in the film, Nayae Peyae. In 2021, she debuted as a Bollywood Director in the film industry. In United Kingdom, her first psychological thriller film, Mystery of Tattoo as a writer and Director has successfully completed. The movie's in the post production stage now and it will release summer 2022. At present, she started her next venture as a Producer, Writer & Director for the full length kids based British 3D Animated film, The Creepy Witch, which will hit the silver screen in 2023.
