Actor, Tyler Covington born in Chattanooga, TN on April 30, 1989. He grew up an only child, son of James Covington and Cynthia Covington. He grew up a movie fanatic and a sports enthusiast at the early age of 5 years old. He played baseball from the age of three up until his college career ended (2011, Jacksonville State University, AL). He was a high school and college standout with many accolades and awards throughout his career. He was always a bright star since he knew how to swing a bat with home-run power. He graduated from Ooltewah High School (2007), the small town of Ooltewah, TN on the outskirts of Chattanooga, TN. Upon graduation, he signed a baseball scholarship to Gadsden State Community College (Gadsden, AL). After GSCC, he attended Jacksonville State University where he studied Psychology (major) and Performing Arts (minor). Later, he transferred to University of TN at Chattanooga and graduated with honors obtaining a Bachelor of Arts Degree. From the time Tyler was young, he would watch movies and various films of all kinds. Before he could drive, his grandmother Mary Covington, would drop him off at a local theatre to catch the latest feature presentations every weekend. He was an avid DVD collector and would study all of his favorite artists on film/TV (Jaleel White, Jim Carrey, Adam Sandler, Denzel Washington, Russell Crowe) for hours. Film became his passion and he knew acting was his calling. As an adult, Tyler entered the workforce where he became a Licensed Insurance Professional. Meanwhile, he would attend acting classes at a local theatre group and private lessons from various coaches to build up a resume. He auditioned for several roles, starting with background work eventually moving into featured and supporting. Outside of his acting career, his main role is a devoted husband and father. If he is not at home, you can catch him pumping iron at a gym or out on the links at public golf course.
