Angel Giovanni Hoyos

Angel Giovanni Hoyos made "MAREA VERDE," his first documentary feature as a director. It relates the long road to the legalization of abortion in Argentina and gives some context of the state of abortion in South America. Filmed over 6 years, it follows women activists who fight for the right to make decisions regarding their own bodies. The movie has participated in over 15 festivals and international film markets. Some of the more noteworthy in official competition include the Warsaw Cinema Festival, the VR Market Vision Du Reel, the Chicago Latino Film Festival, DOCXS Mexico and others. He's presently working on the documentary feature "TERRICIDE."
