Ava Ceccotti

Ava Ceccotti is an actor and writer, known for Wicks (2021). She was born in Scranton, Pennsylvania, USA. Her first major acting experience was on set of the Gossip Girl (2021) reboot portraying a high school student. She stated that she "took that job so seriously, despite it being a background role. Some days I'd go to work and pretend my character was written into the plot, having their own thoughts, and responding to situations. I wanted to soak up everything on set beyond its capacity, and it was pure magic." She published her first book, "Everything and Nothing", at 19 years old. Her later two publications, "Cereal in the Summer", and "Debut Album" followed respectively. Writing introduced her to the possibility of acting, as she states that within her work she was able to feel and see fictional dynamics and wondered if she could express them physically, too. Later, an Instagram comment made by Beanie Feldstein on a video of her reciting lines from Booksmart (2019) encouraged her to put the idea of acting into motion.
