Fred Muthui

Fred Muthui was born in Nairobi, Kenya; December, 1999. He is the last born of three children. His last name, 'Muthui' means "beekeeper/honey gatherer" in his native mother tongue, Kikuyu and is fluent in English and Swahili. With a variety of experiences working in theatre and film from the early age of 6 years old, spanning across 2 continents, Fred comes with a fearless passion for sport with an edge for competitive sport, extending into boxing, kickboxing and mixed martial arts, which opened doors into his stage combat and motion capture career. He is now completing his RADA Gold Shakespeare Award, alongside his BA (Hons) Acting degree at Rose Bruford College, London. He premiered his first written and directed theatrical play, "Choice", in the Rose Bruford Theatre, 2022. His historical radio play on the journey of Pan-Africanism and Kwame Nkrumah, "Lest We Forget: Part 1", featured in the Lamorbey House Intervention in April, 2023.
