Mira

Maria Mirabela Cismaru (b. March 12, 1995 , Rovinari ), known as Mira (stylized MIRA ), is a Romanian singer . Mira became known with the appearance in the second season of the talent show Vocea Romaniei , where she mentored the singer and composer Marius Moga. From an early age, Mira accompanied her mother to weddings in her hometown, where she sang folk music. At the age of 13 he enrolled at the Children's Palace in Targu Jiu , where he studied light music for three years. Then, Mira was part of the band Anonim Band, during which time she discovered her passion for guitar. Mira also tried to promote herself on the Internet , performing covers that garnered thousands of views on YouTube . Mira also stood out at beauty pageants. In December 2011, she won the Miss Christmas contest in Rovinari, managing to outperform the other contestants. Mira appeared in the world of music in 2012, together with DJ Marc Ryan and in the same year she participated in the show Vocea Romaniei , in Marius Moga's team. After participating in Vocea Romaniei , Mira built a musical career and released several successful songs. Among the singles promoted by Mira are "Like", a song composed by Theea Miculescu, "Bella" and "Ballad of Love", but also collaborations with artists such as Kio and What's Up ("Love never goes out") or Corina and Skizzo Skillz ("Girls of the Balkans"). In the past, Mira has collaborated with Allexinno and Zhao, and since 2014, she has become a Global Records artist, Inna's record label, being a colleague of Antonia , Sasha Lopez and Lariss, among others. In September 2017, Mira became the new soloist of the band DJ Project, with whom she released two songs: "Omnia" and "Crazy Heart". Mira attended the first three years of high school at the "Spiru Haret" National College in Targu Jiu , and later enrolled at the "Dumitru Dumitrescu" Technological High School in Buftea to finish high school. In 2017 she graduated from the Faculty of Letters within the University of Bucharest, specializing in Ethnology, cultural anthropology and folklore.
